SABINA is an EU funded H2020 research and innovation project that aims to develop new technology and financial models to connect, control and actively manage generation and storage assets to exploit synergies between electrical flexibility and the thermal inertia of buildings. Besides the R&D progress, the important aspects for the SABINA consortium are training activities, as well-educated professionals in the domain of energy efficiency are a prerequisite for a successful and effective energy management. The SABINA training activities will be realized through tutorials, practical training and summer school that will be organized at the end of the project.
After two years of its running, SABINA team prepared a first package of tutorials, giving general introduction into SABINA project and overview of the topics that the team have worked on up to now, e.g. modelling for thermal mass exploitation, model predictive control at the building level or novel generation of RTU. The tutorials are available as an on-line presentation on following link.
In the future when the tutorials content will be turned into practical workshops, it will be further specified based on the targeted audience of the trainings.
