IREC will provide two laboratories within the project for laboratory simulation and testing: the Semi-Virtual Laboratory for Energy Integration (SEILAB) and the SmartEnergy Lab. Both IREC laboratories are equipped with cuttingedge technology comprising systems for the generation and storage. SEILAB is provided with systems for generation and storage of heat and power and state-of-the-art facilities for testing thermal and electrical equipment. These two laboratories will be connected for the SABINA project in order to test different prosumer profiles, aggregator tools and communications.
